{"id":160,"date":"2007-05-28T15:37:48","date_gmt":"2007-05-28T14:37:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bearlybeaded.co.uk\/blog\/?p=160"},"modified":"2007-05-28T15:37:48","modified_gmt":"2007-05-28T14:37:48","slug":"here-should-be-beading","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.bearlybeaded.co.uk\/blog\/?p=160","title":{"rendered":"Here should be beading"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As the <a title=\"A link to the Patchings Art, Craft and Design Festival 2007\" href=\"http:\/\/www.patchingsartcentre.co.uk\/festival\/2007\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\">festival<\/a> is looming ever nearer, I&#8217;m beading like a fiend in order to build up my stocks whenever I&#8217;m not in work.\u00c2\u00a0 Happily, my local video rental place obviously heard that this was going to happen, so they&#8217;ve introduced DVD box sets to rent for a week at a time, so I&#8217;m working my way through <a title=\"Link to the Wikipedia entry on Lost\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Lost_(TV_series)\" target=\"_blank\">Lost<\/a> (which I&#8217;d heard a lot about, but never seen.\u00c2\u00a0 It seems pretty good so far).\u00c2\u00a0 I&#8217;ve done some new necklaces and bracelets (still playing with the techniques learnt at Daventry), but unfortunately my camera seems to have joined the ranks of Electrical Equipment I Own That Hates Me.\u00c2\u00a0 Well, it&#8217;s possibly my rechargable batteries or my battery recharger that&#8217;s actually bust.\u00c2\u00a0 So I can add my camera to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>My laptop &#8211; this time it&#8217;s the cooling system that&#8217;s acting up.\u00c2\u00a0 Apparently an easy fix I should be able to sort out myself, but until then I have to turn it on, ignore the error messages until the fan finally stutters into life, turn the computer off, give it a minute and start it up.\u00c2\u00a0 Then everything works fine.<\/li>\n<li>My DVD recorder &#8211; which believes that time is an arbitary constraint, not amazingly helpful when setting up a timed recording.<\/li>\n<li>My printer &#8211; not an electrical fault, but the plastic thingy stopping the ink cartridges from escaping tends to pop open half-way through printing a document, which gives the printer a panic attack.\u00c2\u00a0 This problem soon to be fixed with Duck Tape.<\/li>\n<li>My washing machine &#8211; tends to err on the side of caution when deciding if the door is shut securely enough to start washing.\u00c2\u00a0 (Ok, only a little fault, and considering I&#8217;ve never lived anywhere with my own washing machine before I&#8217;m not complaining too loud on this one.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Otherwise though, life is good.\u00c2\u00a0 Still coming to work every day, but over the last week everything&#8217;s been working so I&#8217;m happy.\u00c2\u00a0 We&#8217;ve got what the radio described as &#8216;gale-force breezes&#8217;, but the sun is shining, and the Bay looks beautiful.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As the festival is looming ever nearer, I&#8217;m beading like a fiend in order to build up my stocks whenever I&#8217;m not in work.\u00c2\u00a0 Happily, my local video rental place obviously heard that this was going to happen, so they&#8217;ve introduced DVD box sets to rent for a week at a time, so I&#8217;m working [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[1],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-160","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-general"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"http:\/\/www.bearlybeaded.co.uk\/blog\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/160","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"http:\/\/www.bearlybeaded.co.uk\/blog\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"http:\/\/www.bearlybeaded.co.uk\/blog\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/www.bearlybeaded.co.uk\/blog\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/users\/2"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/www.bearlybeaded.co.uk\/blog\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcomments&post=160"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"http:\/\/www.bearlybeaded.co.uk\/blog\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/160\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"http:\/\/www.bearlybeaded.co.uk\/blog\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fmedia&parent=160"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/www.bearlybeaded.co.uk\/blog\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcategories&post=160"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/www.bearlybeaded.co.uk\/blog\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Ftags&post=160"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
