{"id":404,"date":"2010-10-04T20:00:02","date_gmt":"2010-10-04T19:00:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bearlybeaded.co.uk\/blog\/?p=404"},"modified":"2010-10-04T20:00:02","modified_gmt":"2010-10-04T19:00:02","slug":"if-you-go-down-to-the-woods-today","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.bearlybeaded.co.uk\/blog\/?p=404","title":{"rendered":"If you go down to the woods today&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve taken the plunge, and I&#8217;m joining in with October FolkFest over at Folksy (where you try and list one item every day for October) to fill up my <a title=\"Link to my Folksy shop\" href=\"http:\/\/www.folksy.com\/shops\/BearlyBeaded\" target=\"_blank\">Folksy Shop<\/a>.\u00a0 I should think I&#8217;ll be doing a blog post later about some of the great stuff that&#8217;s being listed, but for today I&#8217;m writing about the reason I fell down on this challenge on only the third day!<\/p>\n<p>Mum makes wonderful mohair teddy bears (and if you&#8217;ve not seen them yet <a title=\"Link to the Bearhugs website\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bearhugs.co.uk\/index1.htm\" target=\"_blank\">click here<\/a>), and each year two ladies come up for the weekend to take a course with her.\u00a0 This year I decided to tag along for the second day, get on with my beading and catch up with the gossip.\u00a0 Had a lovely day, but we didn&#8217;t finish until quite late so I never got around to posting my Folksy item for the day&#8230;<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_405\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bearlybeaded.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/P1020042-sm.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-405\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-405\" title=\"P1020042-sm\" src=\"http:\/\/www.bearlybeaded.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/P1020042-sm-300x248.jpg\" alt=\"Yvonne and Anita with their finished bears\" width=\"300\" height=\"248\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.bearlybeaded.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/P1020042-sm-300x248.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.bearlybeaded.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/P1020042-sm-150x124.jpg 150w, http:\/\/www.bearlybeaded.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/P1020042-sm-400x331.jpg 400w, http:\/\/www.bearlybeaded.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/P1020042-sm.jpg 750w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-405\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Yvonne and Anita with their finished bears<\/p><\/div>\n<p>And here they are with their finished bears.\u00a0 The bear with the green nose on the left was made by Anita (at the back, on the right), the panda was made by Yvonne (back, left) and the yellow bear was made by Mum out of some hand-dyed mohair from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.barbara-annbears.com\/\">Barbara-Ann Bears<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0 You wouldn&#8217;t think it to look at them, but these bears were all made from the same pattern &#8211;
