The chicks look bigger today, we&#8217;re sure of it. I guess they&#8217;ve got to get up to the size of their parents before they leave the nest, and they only get 2-3 weeks to grow to that size.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Nest cam 3rd June\" src=\"http:\/\/www.bearlybeaded.co.uk\/blog\/wp-myimages\/060603nestcam.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re now pretty positive there are only 9 chicks, but some of the bigger ones are beginning to show primary feathers on their wings.<\/p>\n<p>BTW, don&#8217;t forget the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.patchingsfestival.co.uk\/\">Patchings Art, Craft and Design Festival<\/a> starting on Thursday this week!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I was teaching a beading class at Patchings today, but we couldn&#8217;t stop looking at the nest-cam.
